Active digital footprints

This is one of the most common of all footprints, this is because it is entered by the users themselves such as posting something on Facebook or any other social media site. It is important to stay secure online, Facebook allows the user to customize what level of security they want, this is done through changing your privacy settings from open, to friends of friends, or friends only. A footprint can also be stored offline via files when the owner uses a keylogger, so logs can show the actions performed on the machine and who performed them.
